Procedures For Commercial Storm Cleanup

There is any number of reasons a commercial building might suffer from flooding. Roof damage or flooding from the ground are the causes in most storm situation. Because of the contamination brought on by the water source, insurance will require most of the damaged materials be removed. 
The first thing that SERVPRO of Lacey will do is to begin using the sump pump of a truck mounted extractor to remove the water. We will then cut out the wet materials. Before we place air movers to start the drying process, an EPA registered disinfectant is used on the bare flooring and studs. Drying can take as little as 3 days to a week depending on the amount of wet materials present.
